Many different gas station rewards programs exist. Looking for the gas station reward programs that will bring you the most savings? We will start with an overview of the existing gas station rewards programs in the US. We will also include strategies that include one or more alternative ways to save money at the pump.

Aloha petroleum offers a rewards program called My Aloha Rewards which it kicked off in 2023. My Aloha Rewards offers 1 point per $1.00 spent on in-store purchases and 1 point per gallon on fuel purchases. You can download the My Aloha Rewards app for Apple or Android phones on their respective app stores. After you accumulate at least 50 points you can redeem them for free or discounted items.
BP created a new rewards program in 2020 called BPme rewards. BPme has no minimum spend requirements, BPme offers a 5 cents savings for every gallon on fuel purchases. BP also offers a rewards app that you can download which will also let you know about additional fuel savings when bonus offers are available. The BPme rewards program is available at BP and Amoco retail stores nationwide.
Along with the BPme rewards program, BP also offers the BPme Rewards Visa credit card. The credit card will save you 15 cents off per gallon on your first 60 days of fuel purchases. 3% cash back on dining. 3% cash back on groceries and 5% cash back on non fuel purchases at BP and Amoco retail stores.
While Buc-ee’s gas stations do not appear to have a general rewards program, you can sign up for a Buc-ee’s Mastercard credit card. The Buc-ee’s credit card saves you 5% on fuel or shopping in participating Buc-ee’s locations.
Casey’s General Stores offer the Casey’s Rewards program. You can save 5 points per gallon at the pump and 10 points per dollar in the store and online at Caseys.com. You can save 5 cents per gallon (up to 20 gallons) of fuel with 250 points.
CEFCO Convenience Stores offer the CEFCO Rewards program which earns you 10 points per dollar in store and 5 points per gallon at the pump. You can use the CEFCO rewards app to pay at the pump and earn rewards.
CEMEX offers the CEMEX Zip Trip rewards program which will save you 1 point for each dollar spent in-store and each gallon pumped. You can also save money on specials throughout the store. Rewards members save 5 cents per gallon at the pump.
Chevron offers a Chevron Texaco Rewards program that will save you money at the pump. Earn 5 points per gallon on your fuel purchase. You can also get rewards for qualifying in-store purchases. You can use the Chevron or Texaco app to find the nearest participating gas station.
Chuckles convenience stores offer a Chuckles Reward Card which helps you save up to 10 cents on gas purchases. To use the rewards card you link it to your checking account and it works similar to a debit card which gives you instant savings at the pump.
Circle K stores offer a rewards program called inner circle rewards. Inner circle rewards features a savings of 3 cents per gallon and after spending $500 on fuel you can get updated to a premium member where you’ll save 5 cents per gallon. Circle K also offers an app which is available in the app store and google play store.
CITGO has a great reward program called Club CITGO. Club CITGO rewards gives you a 3 cents per gallon rollback at the pump. The Club CITGO rewards program also features stackable rewards! You can save more on 5 cent Fridays and triple Tuesdays (which give you a 9 cent discount) although these savings are limited to once a month. Use the Club CITGO app to find your nearest participating locations.
CITGO also offers a gas rewards credit card that saves you 30 cents on every gallon for the first 60 days. After 60 days you’ll earn 5 cents on every gallon purchased. Also included is Synchrony Car Care which includes over 1,000,000 auto merchant locations nationwide.
Clark Brands gas stations offer a rewards program which will save you 3 cents per gallon at the pump. You can also convert reward points into Clark Crown dollars or additional cents per gallon discounts.
Conoco offer a rewards program called KickBack Rewards.
Cumberland Farms offers a SmartPay Rewards program where you’ll save 10 cents per gallon at the pump. Simply install the app on your phone and create an account and your ready to start saving.
Exxon offers its own rewards program called Exxon Mobile Rewards+. Rewards members earn 3 cents per gallon on premium gas. Link your AARP membership and get 1 point per purchase. You can also earn bonus points when you fill up with over 100 gallons of fuel in a calendar month. You can earn up to 8 cents in points per gallon. Members can also earn points for purchasing items in the Exxon store.
Flying J offers my Rewards Plus with the myRewards Plus app which features military discounts of 10% on food and drinks. The app also has touch less payment, the ability to check pricing and pump availability and you can also keep track of your receipts with the app.
Go-Mart offers Gomart Rewards where you can earn rewards with a tier system. The more often you visit the greater the rewards. You can download the Gomart App and start earning rewards today. Rewards include a 3 cents per gallon discount for plus tier, 5 cents for the premium tier and 10 cents for the gopher tier. In store rewards like free coffees and drinks are also available for the different reward tiers.
Gulf offers gas rewards with the Gulf Pay app. To start earning rewards you can download the Gulf pay app. After downloading the app and creating an account you can start earning 5 cents off per gallon.
Hy-vee offers its fuel saver rewards program which allows you to save on gas. Designated in store purchases earn discounts when you purchase gas.
Kroger has a free rewards membership called Kroger Plus. you can earn 1 point for every 1 dollar spent on groceries and general merchandise in store. You can redeem your points for fuel discounts or rewards cash.
Marathon Petroleum offers the Marathon Rewards program. This program offers fuel discounts, which are currently 7 cents per gallon. New members earn up to $7 dollars in rewards for joining.

Phillips 66 offers the Kickback Rewards program which features ways to earn and redeem points which never expire.
RaceTrac offers the RaceTrac Rewards program. You can earn 4 point for every dollar spent on in store purchases and 1 point per each gallon of gas purchased. Your points are good for up to a year after earning them giving you plenty of time to claim you discounts.
7-Eleven offers an app where you can see the points you’ve earned. 7Rewards is 7-Eleven’s rewards program which offers earned points on almost every dollar spent. 7Rewards will save you 5 cents a gallon on fuel. New members will get 11 cents a gallon discount on their first 7 trips.
Shell offers the fuel rewards program to help you save on your fuel purchases. Save 5 cents per gallon with gold status and 10 cents per gallon with platinum status.
Speedway offers its Speedy Rewards program which is accessible with the app. The speedy rewards program offers 10 points per gallon on fuel and 20 points per dollar spent on in store merchandise. Each month bonus points are available on select items.
Sunco offers its own reward program called Sunco Go Rewards. You can earn a 3 cent discount at the pump for every gallon of fuel purchased. You can also earn discounts on gas when you use a grocery store loyalty card when you make your purchase.

The Travelcenters of America offers the UltraONE membership rewards program. The UltraONE reward program offers several tiers with the opportunity to offer up to 4 points on fuel when you reach the highest tier.
Wawa offers its reward program called Wawa Rewards. You can earn 10 points per dollar spent when you place a prepaid mobile order or use apple wallet. You can earn 5 points per gallon when you use the app to activate the fuel pump and pay.
Gas station rewards programs offered by local and nationwide gas stations are one way to save money. You can also implement these handy 8 ways to save on transportation cost including: getting your oil changed regularly, slowing down, avoiding aggressive driving, avoiding hauling cargo on your roof, signing up for credit card that offer rewards, walk instead of driving and go car free.
If your looking for other ways to save money, consider moving to a city with a high walkability score. You have the potential to save the most on transportation costs by moving to a town that is car free. If you work remotely this may be the best option. You’ll have the benefit of being able to save a large percentage of the expense you would use to purchase and maintain a vehicle. The car free option also benefits the planet and ensures that you no longer wait in traffic jams.
Taking a look at the 31 gas station rewards programs we reviewed in this post, a few of them stand out with options that can save you more compared with the rest. Marathon Petroleum makes the list with a discount of 7 cents per gallon. If you use more than 100 gallons of fuel in a calendar month, Exxon Mobile Rewards+ lets you earn up to 8 cents in points per gallon. Shell saves you 10 cents per gallon with platinum status. The Chuckles Reward Card from Chuckles convenience stores can save you up to 10 cents on gas purchases. Cumberland Farms Smart Pay rewards program can save you 10 cents per gallon at the pump. The gopher tier of GoMart Rewards can save you 10 cents per gallon on gas.
